America's Fallen Hero's

Chris Carter

CPL Christopher James Carter, 02/27/1992-02/12/2015, grew up in St. Charles, Missouri. Upon graduation from Francis Howell High School, Chris fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a Special Operations Army Ranger. Directly advancing through the required Army courses, he joined the 2/75 Ranger Battalion and immediately deployed four times to Afghanistan between 2011-2014. Respected and well decorated, Chris achieved his Army Ranger Tab just after turning 21. He was caring, insightful and funny. Chris sported talents for music, art, and working on fast cars or motorcycles. He also demonstrated a strong empathy for animals. Chris succumbed to suicide and is missed by his many friends and family.

The Chris Carter Charity for Life was established by Stan and Beth Carter, to honor their son. Its mission is to support those who are struggling with mental illness, to prevent suicide and support those who have experienced loss from suicide. The charity’s emphasis is towards the military, especially Special Operations Forces and family. For further information please visit ChrisCarterCharityforLife.com.
